MINERALVEST GLOBAL ACHIEVES 99.65% COMMERCIAL GRADE II ANTIMONY AND PREPARES FOR A FULL-SCALE PRODUCTION RAMP

Major Technical Milestone Follows MineralVest's Recent Acquisition of Mexican Antimony Operations Advancing Toward a Global Offtake and Commercial Production

FORT LAUDERDALE, SC, UNITED STATES, September 3, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- WorldVest today announced that MineralVest Global, through its MexMinerals Antimony Joint Venture in Mexico, has successfully produced 99.65% Commercial Grade II antimony. The achievement marks the first major technical and commercial milestone following WorldVest’s acquisition of a controlling interest in the Mexican antimony processing and mining operations announced earlier this year.

The achievement represents an important advancement in WorldVest’s strategy to transform MexMinerals from an acquired mining and processing operation into a scalable commercial producer serving the rapidly developing global market for secure, non-Chinese antimony supply.

The 99.65% antimony product has been refined to internationally traded commercial-grade specifications, positioning MexMinerals to enter global antimony markets and allowing MineralVest Global to accelerate commercial offtake discussions.

“This is exactly the type of operating milestone we envisioned when WorldVest acquired its interest in the MexMinerals Antimony operations and positioned the joint venture within our MineralVest Global platform,” said Garrett Krause, Chairman of WorldVest. “Our initial objective was to establish the operating infrastructure, demonstrate our ability to refine the material to internationally marketable commercial-grade specifications and then move aggressively toward global sales and production expansion.”

“Achieving 99.65% commercial-grade antimony validates that strategy and moves us from development toward commercialization.”

GLOBAL OFFTAKE NEGOTIATIONS NOW UNDERWAY

Following the successful production of 99.65% Commercial Grade II antimony, MineralVest Global is actively negotiating global offtake arrangements for MexMinerals’ production with established participants in the international antimony market.

The company expects these discussions to advance toward definitive commercial arrangements in the coming weeks, establishing the commercial foundation for the next phase of the MexMinerals production ramp.

The timing of these discussions is particularly important as governments, manufacturers and strategic industries increasingly seek secure and reliable sources of antimony outside China.

Antimony is a critical mineral used in defense, energy storage, flame retardants, semiconductors, advanced manufacturing and other strategically important applications. MineralVest believes the growing emphasis on supply-chain security creates a significant opportunity for producers capable of delivering commercially viable antimony from North American sources.

COMMERCIAL PRODUCTION RAMP TARGETING 25 MT PER MONTH AND BEYOND

With commercial-grade production successfully demonstrated, processing infrastructure in place and mining operations positioned for increased extraction, MineralVest is moving forward with its production ramp and long-term growth strategy.

The company is targeting monthly production of approximately 25 metric tonnes of commercial-grade antimony within the next six months, followed by continued expansion toward more than 100 metric tonnes per month over the next three years.

At an illustrative market price of approximately US$20,000 per metric tonne, production of 25 metric tonnes per month would represent approximately US$500,000 in monthly gross product value, equivalent to approximately US$6 million on an annualized basis, before operating costs, refining, transportation, royalties, taxes and other expenses.

MineralVest views the 25 MT-per-month target as an initial commercial production objective rather than the long-term production potential of the platform.

The company intends to pursue its longer-term production target through the expansion of existing mining operations, increased processing and refining capacity, and the potential acquisition and development of additional antimony assets.

“Our objective is considerably larger than a single 25-tonne-per-month operation,” Krause said. “We believe we have an opportunity to build a vertically integrated North American antimony platform encompassing mining, processing, refining and ultimately downstream products, supported by long-term relationships with major international consumers.”

FROM ACQUISITION TO COMMERCIALIZATION

WorldVest announced its acquisition of a 75% controlling interest in the Mexican antimony processing company, associated mining claims and community mineral rights in May 2026 as one of the initial operating assets of its MineralVest Global platform.

At the time of the acquisition, WorldVest outlined a strategy centered on increasing production, expanding processing capabilities, developing downstream opportunities and establishing strategic international offtake relationships.

The successful production of 99.65% Commercial Grade II antimony represents a significant step in the execution of that strategy.

With this technical production milestone now achieved, MineralVest’s immediate priorities are to complete global offtake arrangements, increase mine production, expand processing throughput and execute the planned commercial production ramp.

BUILDING A LARGER NORTH AMERICAN ANTIMONY PLATFORM

Beyond the existing MexMinerals operation, WorldVest and MineralVest Global intend to pursue additional antimony mine acquisitions, expanded processing and refining capacity, and downstream opportunities across the antimony value chain.

Mexico’s proximity to the United States, established mining industry and access to international markets provide a strategically important foundation for developing a larger North American antimony supply chain capable of serving customers throughout the United States, Europe and other global markets.

MineralVest’s longer-term objective is to create an integrated antimony platform capable of participating across the value chain—from mine production through processing and refining—and potentially into higher-value downstream antimony products.

“Reaching commercial-grade production is only the beginning,” Krause added. “We formed the MexMinerals Antimony Joint Venture because we believed it could become the foundation for something substantially larger. Our strategy now is to secure the global sales channel, build production, expand capacity and continue acquiring strategic antimony assets as we develop MineralVest into a meaningful participant in the global critical-minerals supply chain.”
